MyPoints – BEWARE SCAM WARNING
by BOB HAWKE, Aug 08 ’11MyPoints was good and were honest and when there was an issue they would respond. MyPoints has been swallowed up by Toluna.
They do not respond to emails.
When you finish surveys they screen you out at question number 199/200 or at the 99.9% completed stage.
Points disappear and they do not explain what happened. Rewards are not paid.Do not refer anyone. If you were with MyPoints, say goodbye – you’ll be sorry for moving your account and all your security information to Toluna – they are crooks.

a bit tight!
by Tracey, Jul 19 ’11I think this site is not bad in terms of navigation but my issue with them is that they pay tiny fees for very long surveys. There are definately other sites who would give you about 4 times as much for half the time!

MyPoints
by louise, May 25 ’11I was a member with MyPoints surveys and did complete some surveys and built up credit but this took such a long time as i have had the same problems as some others have stated where you answer loads of questions in a survey and then they say your not eligable to be paid for it. I have now built up about 10 of credit and was going to withdraw it and MyPoints have cancelled my account. I have emailed them repeatedly and they have told me they have cancelled my account but wont tell me why and i cant withdraw my credits. So i ahve wasted my time filling in surveys for nothing. I will not recommend MyPoints surveys as they get people to fill in surveys for them for nothing!

Rip-Off Survey Site
by Claire, Mar 15 ’11This has got to be the most stingy survey site ever. You get quite a few surveys each month but the incentive is ridiculous at $0.93AUD for 25 minutes survey.
0.93 cents? come on, they must think people are really desperate to do half an hour work for less than a dollar. I rather collect cans.MyPoints is definitely a lame survey site. STAY AWAY!

A waste of time
by Jacqueline, Feb 22 ’11I have been a member of UK version of MyPoints and received at least 5 emails a day for surveys with usually 10p incentive but sometimes up to 3. I was screened out of just about every survey they sent me and sometimes after nearly completing the full survey. Seems an absolute con and the worst survey company I have ever used and I use a few and very rarely get screened out. Have eventually cancelled the account due to the amount of email I received.

Give it a go
by vicky, Feb 11 ’11I like this site – I checked them on the net before I joined and most of the opinions were negative but I have had mostly a pleasant experience with them. Over the last 5 months I’ve earned over 55, and sometimes the surveys are underpaid but most of the content is the same and you don’t have to think too much about what they’re asking.
I think it’s good if you have the patience. I recommend you visit their website daily to take their surveys because after a couple of months they stopped inviting me and I find that you take a lot more if you just visit the website.

Why the MyPoints?
by Katie, Jan 05 ’11It was bad enough that Greenfield had OXT surveys that hardly anyone could qualify for, let alone complete but MyPoints is even worse.
With some sort of little character/icon like Microsofts irritating Paper Clip these surveys almost made me mad.
The pages were long, where others use multi-pages t oask stuff about you.
I never qualified for any of the few I was ever given.

MyPoints MyPoints
by Orlando, Nov 01 ’10Final straw today, I completed a £5 survey (wow, you don’t get many of those at MyPoints – it’s usually 10p), then happened to look at My Survey Centre right after, and saw I had been given a Prize Draw Entry instead of Project Open status. Only coincidence that I looked there right away – how many times in the past have MyPoints done this to me & I never noticed. Try to complain and there’s no contact email or any way to get in touch with them.

Top of that one angela martin is sending email giving link for helpdesk and same email she mentioned that we know that this link is not working even we cant access that. Really shameless peoples.

by Tony, Jul 02 ’10Have just about had it with this company. Over 60% of all surveys screen out well into the survey which proves they are conning the panelists. Serious survey takers will be very disappointed with the results

Little incentive for comparitively long surveys
by Caroline, Jun 01 ’10I found MyPoints very disappointing. I was told initially that the detailed and lengthy registration process (approx 40 minutes) would guarantee I would only get surveys tailored uniquely to myself and speed up the process of completing any further surveys. However, after all this effort I only received approximately 1 survey per week of roughly 20 – 30 minutes duration (MyPoints said it would only take 10 minutes)for which I was offered 10 pence. I couldn’t even receive the 10p because 20 minutes into the survey it told me I wasn’t eligible for this survey! What a waste of time. Save yourself the effort and don’t bother with them.

MyPoints from Australia
by David, Apr 20 ’10I have been a member of this panel for over 3 months.Initially I thought they were OK because of the number of survey invitations I was receiving. However,it soon became obvious they screen out heavily as I only get to complete and submit for reward about 10%,and sometimes after completing nearly the whole survey. This should’nt happen,as the profile surveys they get you to complete on joining should mean the invitations are targeted to compatible members.Recently I spent over 20 minutes on a survey with an estimated length of 15 minutes before being terminated.I emailed a complaint and received the automated reply promising a personal reply, but despite me sending a reminder, still have not had the courtesy of a reply. For a so called reputable site, not very professional. Also their estimated survey completion times are usually under-estimated.So at a meagre 93c aggregate reward it’s no surprise to me that their Survey Police overall rating is as low as 50.8%.

by karen, Apr 06 ’10last week i received a survey invite. 93cents for a 60 minute survey. dont insult my intelligence!this used to be one of the best sites but its gone downhill. i only complete their surveys if they offer a decent amount. i often get technology surveys where they will pay me $10 for 10 minutes of questions and those i dont mind. anything less than $12 an hour and im not interested and thats only if im bored

Not worth the time
by sara, Jan 08 ’10I have been a MyPoints member for a while now, and at the beginning it was worth filling in the surveys because for a few minutes of my time I would receive more often than not £1.00 plus.
However the majority of the surveys that I recieve now seem to be for a 10p incentive, which just doesn’t seem worth it at all. I received an email the other day asking me to complete a 60 minute survey and I would be paid 10p, how ridiculous is that.
Also the amount of questions that we have to answer just to see if we qualify for a particular survey is ridiculous too.
MyPoints is not a site to join if you are expecting to feel any better off in the money department.

by jamie, Dec 11 ’09I work for a survey company called creations rewards and they work with MyPoints. a few weeks ago I took a survey on hteir site that was from MyPoints and of course they never reported it to them. They said theres nothing they can do if MyPoints doesnt report the survey as completed to them. Im so angry. You would think they wouldnt work with that type of company? Makes me look at this company different.

MyPoints has gone downhill – big time.
by Carrie, Dec 03 ’09I used to do lots of surveys for MyPoints and they paid reasonably, between £1-£2 per survey. Then, I started getting some that paid the grand sum of 10p per survey for half an hour’s work! However (and this is what made me leave the panel) I ended up having around 10 surveys that were never paid for. I’d kept the e-mails from them to prove that I’d completed them and would forward them on, but my account wasn’t credited. Why should I complete surveys that I wouldn’t be credited for? Shame on you MyPoints. My daughter had the same problem. She actually received a reply to her e-mail where she said that she hadn’t been paid for a particular survey and was told that the money had been credited. So she checked her MyPoints account and it hadn’t been credited at all. She waited another couple of weeks in case it took a while to show, but still nothing. She wrote again and never received a reply. So she has left too. In my mind they are the worst survey panel.

by Jennie, Nov 12 ’09This site has got to be a wind up- seriously, I think someone has hacked it and reclaimed it as the joke of the survey world whilst having bound and gagged the real owners.I hear this site used to be quite good- that it actually paid good money for surveys.Well not anymore- you’re lucky if you get to “qualify” for a 10p for 30 minutes survey (though read that as 10p for 50 minute survey) the chances of getting paid are slim to none, either the miney just never shows or you do about 25 minutes of a 20 minute survey to then be told “unfortunetly you do not qualify,……”Not even good if you want to waste time. Surveys are long, tedious, repetative and bland.

What happened?!
by Christine, Sep 15 ’09I started with MyPoints last year and they were really good with their incentives – frequently £1.00 and over – although you could spend quite a while filling in a questionaire before being screened out which was annoying. Recently, however, they seem to only offer incentives of 10p for a survey which is very poor. I have spent up to one hour on a 10p survey which frankly is just not worth my time and effort. I am seriously thinking of cashing what they owe me and then cancelling my membership. The surveys aren’t that much fun, either, so there is no redeeming feature. What happened MyPoints?! You used to be one of the best…..

A LOT OF EFFORT FOR LITTLE REWARD
by Terry, Jun 22 ’09Yes they have been taken over by Greenfield for their surveys. I like many others have been a member of MyPoints for a number of years and used to recive invitations to surveys on a regular basis and for at least £ 1 per survey minimum.Nowadays it’s as stated above 10p per survey for 30 or 40 minutes of my time. This to me shows the contempt that MyPoints surveys hold their contributors in offering that kind of money I mean do they think we are worth just 20p per hour.I’m afraid I have given up completing surveys for MyPoints as there is no incentive anymore.

Cheapskate
by Ian, Mar 03 ’09I was asked to fill in a set of profiles (basic, careers etc) but didn’t get many surveys at first.
After a while, I started to get one once every 2-3 weeks and they paid out around £1-3, which was great. Recently, I started to get lots of surveys (one every other day) for between 10p & 81p, (occasionally more).
I delete most as I don’t have the time to do so many and they aren’t worth it . The ones I do are very fussy and ask for quite a lot of questions and reject me most of the time. Some of these questions are not always questions like age, status, but actual questions about the nature of the survey. Sometimes, I’ve been rejected from surveys 30% through them.
This company used to be really good, but now I’m honestly thinking of cancelling.Another part of the company allows you to write reviews on products & services, which is really enjoyable, and has a real sense of community. You get points for writing reviews and rating others. Not much money though!

Poorer and poorer
by Lisette, Mar 03 ’09Is it my imagination or have Greenfield online taken over the survey arm of MyPoints? It seems so. I am now being offered surveys with a massive incentive of 10p or at the very most 34p – appalling – before I used to get £1 or £2 per survey, and my £5 minimum required was reached in no time, in fact, I used to cash out each month, straight into my bank account. I am finding now that I am deleting the surveys as they come in. 30 minute survey for 10p – jog on! forget it! Not me!I do feel, however, that quite apart from the surveys, the site is good. I have always felt that, and genuinely feel that you can earn a great deal if you would like to write opinions and have them rated, and rate others. However, purely on surveys alone, forget it!
