Reward points dramatically reduced by Glenn, Feb 24 ’12This was the first panel I ever joined and will likely be the first I quit. I have seem their reward points for surveys drop by more than 50%! The norm nowadays is a 20 point survey! If you’re lucky enough to complete 58 of these you can get a $10 check! Whoppee!!! |

Annoying by Mick, Feb 21 ’12More often than not when they tell you the great news: “We have a new survey for you”, they invariably haven’t. When I click on the link I am told the complete opposite. When I am given the opportunity to do a survey I often fill out half the survey and then they tell me I don’t qualify/enough respondents or any other excuse to disguise the fact that they have finished getting information from me for no reward. When I infrequently earn enough to get a reward it is in the form of a credit voucher which is of limited use and has a very short life, so you end up spending it for the sake of it before it expires. All in all a pretty annoying site. |

Still like it but….. by Kenneth C, Jan 06 ’12Points2Shop is a pretty quick way to build up points to get some quick money that is when you qualify. They recently got rid of the 5 pts for not qualifying and replaced it with a stupid sweepstakes entry. Another benefit to this site though is that the point values are the same for all prizes so rather than wasting it on a gift card just get it in paypal money for the same amount. |

Very sad.. by Era, Nov 02 ’11Points2Shop and Lightspeed have merged. So what you get is typically 5 points to qualify. And if you do ,it can be 75 to 150 points, If you have the time.I miss Lightspeed. They didn’t give me 5 points, but I always got a survey out of them…So miss them..I feel sad that the merge wasn’t the other way around. |

Watch out for bait and switch by William, Sep 21 ’11I took a survey where you recorded all that you drank for 2 weeks. Completing this I sent back the device and waited for my $50 reward card. Time passed and I forgot about the reward. I then found the reciept and remembered the reward. I have e-mailed and called. I was promised the card many times, 2 years have gone by and nothing but lies from Points2Shop . Don’t be fooled like I was. |

Points2Shop by Frank, May 17 ’11This one has been pretty good for me. They pay promptly by cheque. Never had any problems with them at all. Just not a lot of invites. |

Worst survey site ever by ariel, May 17 ’11Points2Shop .com is a horrible survey site. At first they seem legitimate, but then they screw with you. If you actually are able to complete the surveys to get the points that you can redeem, they deactivate your account and blame it on you. If you bring any issue to their attention, they don’t solve it. They have horrible customer service. The replies seem to be computer generated and if you call them, they treat you like garbage. Do not sign up for Points2Shop .com! |

One of the worst by Derek, May 14 ’11This survey site is total crap.Just the other day I wasted over a hour doing a survey for them only to have it bug out at the very end.I ended up getting nothing for wasting a hour on their mind numbingly boring and repetitive survey.Bugged surveys are almost daily with them,I’ve gotten ripped off for at least 20 surveys since i’ve been with them.Their incentives are terrible too. |

Shell of its Former (Lightspeed) Self by Ellen, May 08 ’11I agree with the previous reviewers who commented on the change from Lightspeed to Points2Shop . Same surveys, and the incentives are about 30% of what they were before. Moreover, the list of available surveys doesn’t specify the reward for each. You have to start the survey to find out what the incentive is. Receiving $.50 to take a 25 minute survey is a waste of time. I’m done. |

ehhh… by James, Apr 06 ’11LightSpeed used to be my favorite survey panel, but since they merged with Points2Shop .com, I’d have to say I’m unimpressed. The surveys are pretty much the same as before, many are about your reactions to tv commercials. However the incentives aren’t quite as good as they were with LightSpeed. I usually get a few surveys from them every day, and qualify for a little less than half of them. They still pay promptly thru PayPal. I dont mind taking a 20 minute survey for 150 pts, which translates to about $1.40, but sometimes they only offer 50 pts for the same length survey, which to me is a waste of time. However I’ve also seen 300 point surveys that last around 25-30 mins so I guess they vary based on topic. Overall they are still a legit survey site and I’ll continue to answer their surveys for the time being. |

Uh oh! by P.Doffe, Mar 18 ’11In addition to the posts by Cybil and N. I’ve only been with these guys for a while, everything started out really cool until I was 95% through a recent survey, received an error message and got booted off… and “no points”! I hope this isn’t common? And yes, they also haven’t replied to me about this, and still no points for the 95% I did complete! Yikes! PS: The incentives are pretty crappy too! Uh oh! |

Not happy by Cybil, Feb 17 ’11I am really hoping to be able to change my review as I have always liked Points2Shop . Twice this week I have spent over 30 minutes taking a 75 point survey only to receive an error message at the end and not receive the credit I was due. After emailing them twice about the incidents I have yet to receive the points or a simple reply. I am very upset about this and hope they get their “errors” straitened out or I will be canceling my account. My time is worth a lot more then this. |

Lightspeed by itself was better by N, Feb 16 ’11I was previously with Lightspeed and had no problems with them. They were an excellent survey site. But the day they merged with Points2Shop it has been terrible. I don’t want to take any more surveys with them. It has happened 2 times with me after they merged. I spent about half an hour taking a survey and then an error came and I received 0 points. I sent an email but as expected no reply from anyone. Points2Shop is the worst survey company. Don’t waste your time taking their surveys.I really hope that Lightspeed splits with them, as they were much better before. |

Time better spent elsewhere by Mark, Feb 02 ’11I have been a member for quite a while and have earned several 10 dollar pay outs. I know they recently took over lightspeed, which was never the best, now it has gotten worse. I was just asked to complete a 20min survey for 50 points, it takes 1000 for 10 dollars. Decent surveys fairly easy but poor rewards. |

Just Sign In by Martha, Jan 08 ’11After signing in at least 20 times in a 10 minute period, I finally gave up. They keep “fixing” it, and I’ve not been able to get past the dashboard of Lightspeed (they haven’t yet changed it to Points2Shop on MY emails yet) and I’m tired of trying. CANCEL IT before you even start. |

They’ve done a runner with my rewards! by mark, Dec 09 ’10Lightspeed now seem to have gone over to something called Points2Shop . Except it isn’t Points2Shop any more as my account does not exist meaning I’ve lost all the rewards I built up and they have failed on multiple occasions to reply to my emails regarding this! |

Lightspeed is just okay by Joseph, Nov 10 ’10I am not just overly crazy about lightspeed. I have had trouble with surveys screwing me out of points. I emailed customer service about both incidents and receive no response. Customer service is basically non exsistant. Many times I go to the website and it won’t let me log in. It says user name and password doesn’t exist, which isn’t the case. Then sometimes I get logged in and click on a survey at which point I get booted back to the login page with the message of user name and password doesn’t exist.I only like lightspeed at this point because I did get a survey that netted my a 6 pack of Fanta to sample. It was great soda. I also got a survey recently where they are sending me a cell phone to track my drinking habits over a 2 week period. It sounds like fun and a good incentive. |

How do you qualify? by Laura, Oct 21 ’10I must not be in their demographic – whatever it is – because I think I’ve only qualified for two of their surveys in the last 3 months. Disappointing. It will takes me eons to earn enough points with them to cash in. |

Legitimately Boring by E, Oct 15 ’10This survey site is legitimate, and like most of them, you get scant points that will eventually add up to a gift certificate – pretty much what you’d expect from most of the legitimate sites, really, Except, this site’s surveys are some of the most tedious I’ve ever come across. Redundancy after redundancy is built in, and I understand that they need to avoid skewing their samples, but honestly they ought to offer a better incentive if they’re going to ask people to spend 30 minutes to an hour of their time answering the same blamed questions over and over and over again. At least they got rid of the megaphone guy on the home page, he was giving me a migraine. |
